About this site
This is my personal web site where I post thoughts about my area of work, which touches upon different areas of IT projects (business analysis, project management, architecture).
The trigger to start this blog came from the realization, that I read a lot of books about IT projects but that I find it difficult to remember the most important details and my reflections about those details without writing them down somewhere. Hence, this is mainly a series of notes to my later self. But I also enjoy sharing good things and hope that my writing will be useful to you. Each review is meant to distill a book’s main ideas and separate the most valuable bits from the not so valuable ones.
I am not a pundit of the topics that I write about. Just curious. I have worked in different roles in IT projects (business analyst, project manager, tester) in Geneva, Switzerland. It may be important to stress also that I am not a professional developer, even though many of the books I review talk about coding, system architecture or “agile” development practices.
I you have any feedback on my posts, suggestions for book reviews, ideas for collaboration, or anything else you want to share with me, then you can reach me at “khalid” at “scharaf” dot “ch” or get in touch via linked.
